Sawgio LLC is medical services and software company with offices in New York, California and Florida. Sawgio LLC is run and managed by a group of dermatologists, seasoned software professionals, support and training staff with years of experience in medical software development and medical billing services. Sawgio’s management team are pioneers in EHR software technology and they have been developing and using EHR software for over fifteen years. Sawgio’s director and dermatologist is one of the early adopters of EHR technology, all of his offices have been using dermatology specific EHRs for over ten years.

Costs and Limitations
Sawgio LLC provider of Sawgio EHR charges ongoing monthly fee for using software and one time fixed fee for setting up Electronic prescribing, drug-drug and drug-allergy interaction checking, drug-formulary checks (170.314.b.3, 170.314.a.2, 170.314.a.10), integration with state registries, public health agencies and reportable laboratories entities (170.314.f.2, 170.314.f.3, 170.314.f.4). ePrescribing is available for licensed clinicians who are legally permitted to prescribe medications. Sawgio EHR utilizes Emdeon Exchange or DrFirst Rcopia for electronic prescription routing.

Receiving electronic results from lab interfaces
Customers with a typical broadband internet connection will be able to receive and import electronic results from labs by setting up lab interfaces (170.314.b.5). Each year, there is a per-practice, per-interface fee to support the ongoing transmission of lab results.

Transmitting immunization information with immunization registries
Customers with a typical broadband internet connection will be able to export and send electronic immunization records to immunization registries (170.314.f.2). Immunization registries are free to activate and there are no additional fees associated with these registries. Sawgio EHR outputs immunization registry information according to the HL7 2.5.1 standard. Sawgio can be connected to any public immunization registry for submission of immunization data.

Transmitting syndromic surveillance information to public health agencies
Customers with a typical broadband internet connection will be able to export electronic syndromic surveillance information (170.314.f.3). These files can then be uploaded to public health registries. Sawgio exports the data according to the HL7 2.5.1 standard. This feature is included in the cost of Sawgio EHR monthly license fee.  In order to submit data for syndromic surveillance, the provider can download the syndromic surveillance file and upload it to the appropriate public health registry manually

Transmitting information to patient portals or sending direct messages
Customers with a typical broadband connection can send and receive patient portal messages and send and receive direct messages. (170.314.b.1-2, 170.314.e.1-3). These features are included in the cost of monthly license fee for using Sawgio EHR.  Providers can exchange transfers of care via Direct messaging as long as the provider and recipient has login id and password to Sawgio EHR.

Accessing patient education on problems, medications and labs
Customers with a typical broadband connection can access patient education on problems, medications and labs. (170.314.a.15). These features are included in the fixed monthly license fee for using Sawgio EHR.
